Bill Owen Biography

 

Bill Owen is an American landscape and seascape photographer.  He generally works in medium format, usually in color.  He uses carefully exposed transparency film to create richly detailed Ilfochrome prints.  Bill lives in Maryland.

 

 

 

Selected Representations/Exhibits

 

1997                           SoHo, New York City.  A one-day show in a loft in SoHo, Manhattan, advertised on the art pages of The New York Times.

 

1999                           Covington & Burling, Washington, DC.  A private show at a prominent Washington law firm, known for its permanent photography collection of 20th Century American masters.  Covington has a dozen Bill Owen images on permanent display.

 

2002-2003                             The Edward Carter Gallery, New York.  Seascapes. 

 

2004                                       Packard Reath Gallery, Lewes, Delaware.  Seascapes.
